Pacific Theatre is one of Vancouver’s hidden gems. While it has a home-grown cozy feel, Pacific Theatre pulls out the stops when it comes to delivering a riveting theatre experience.
When I had first came in contact wth Pacific theatre they were mainly using photo based advertisements for each production and it lacked distinction in the theatre marketplace. I chose to elevate the visual vibrancy throughout the city by designing colourful custom illustrations and mixed media compositions for each production promotion. In addition, I crafted a new web experience and a complimentary brand refresh.

Article has an amazing Trade Program. We know that. The challenge was not providing high quality products and an exceptional service. The challenge was getting the word out to the interior design community.
In collaboration with the marketing team I run an acquisition campaign with the goal of acquiring 1000 new trade members. We utilized social channels, landing pages, direct mail and print publications.
Most interior design publications and social advertisements featured standardized creative with very similar stylized room shots. I took a different approach to stand out from the crowd. We shot this from a birds eye/floor plan perspective. 1 room easily designed three ways — showcasing the ease of bringing an interior designers vision to life.
The campaign was a success achieving the desired client acquisition we set out to acquire. Win, win!

BC Housing plays a significant role dramatically improving the conditions for many low income residents living in the Downtown East Side. But it's not just that they are improving living conditions, it's the way they are doing it. They are beautifully refurbishing rundown heritage buildings and making them livable again.
The message is that the residences in the DTES have been given 'A New Lease On Living' as a result of the combined effort between BC Housing and partners such as McGinn Engineering & Preservation Ltd. The campaign is a celebration of that.
I was commissioned to envision a campaign identity and craft a series of installation plaques for the front lobby of each building. The strategy was to utilize a collage technique in order to incorporate archival photography and current detailed schematics for each residency — showcasing the progressive transformation.
